Douglas advises clients in the gaming, food and beverage, and social media spaces, in addition to various other industries in the technology sector, on intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement. His practice includes clearance searches, application filing and strategy, office action responses, and domestic and foreign disputes.
While in law school, Douglas served as the editor-in-chief for the Journal of High Technology Law.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Douglas was a trademark examining attorney at the United States Patent & Trademark Office where he reviewed thousands of trademark applications across various industries and represented the Agency before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
