Kara represents clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries in a broad variety of litigation matters, with a focus on patent litigation. She has experience representing clients in complex patent litigation and contract disputes in a variety of venues, including federal and state courts, the International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Kara practiced in the intellectual property group of a large national law firm, where she participated in several trials involving patent infringement and contract claims.
While in law school, Kara served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sherry R. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
