Winnie advises on patent litigation matters to support clients in the technology and life sciences industries. She has experience handling a range of patent and licensing matters involving standard essential patents, machine learning, authentication software, biometric testing devices, touch screen GUI and video compression technology. Winnie also has experience in patent disputes tried before the International Trade Commission and in post-grant proceedings, including inter partes reviews.
Before joining Fenwick, Winnie was an intellectual property associate at a prominent international law firm. She also previously clerked with the California Public Utilities Commission–Legal Division conducting research on legal issues related to energy, telecommunications and ride-share transportation matters.
During law school, Winnie was an associate editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and managing editor of the Asian American Law Journal.
