Sheeva Ghassemi-Vanni advises employers on a multitude of labor and employment issues such as hiring, progressive discipline, and termination; employee handbooks; reductions in force; leaves of absence; disability accommodation; wage and hour issues; non-competition and non-solicitation covenants; social media; and compliance with state and federal employment laws. She also represents employers in litigation regarding age, gender, race, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, and religious discrimination; sexual harassment; wrongful termination; retaliation; wage and hour disputes; and trade secrets. In addition, she advises companies regarding labor and employment issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. In 2016, Sheeva was named to Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list of standout professionals.
