Stefano Quintini focuses his practice on structuring and negotiating complex technology deals, such as collaboration and license agreements, joint ventures and strategic alliances across multiple industries, with a focus on therapeutics, digital healthcare, medical device, mobile and data-driven businesses. He also manages the intellectual property and commercial aspects of corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, spin-outs and venture capital investments.
Stefano is active in the digital healthcare community, representing companies in the data analytics, cost transparency tools, EMRs and telehealth spaces, and regularly speaking at conferences and meetings on topics related to where the law and technology converge for these companies. He also serves as an advisor to the nation’s leading digital health incubator, Rock Health, in San Francisco.
In addition, Stefano regularly counsels clients with respect to a broad range of privacy issues, including the risks associated with consumer information, medical and clinical data and behavioral targeting. He regularly advises clients on compliance with COPPA and CAN-SPAM and consumer privacy issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. He also handles international aspects of personal data processing and transfer, particularly between the EU and the US.
