Jim Koenig, co-chair of Fenwick's privacy and cybersecurity practice, will be speaking on Friday, October 6, at 1pm on a panel titled "'One Stop Shop' and Coordinating Compliance in Europe." Many open questions remain under the GDPR about how a company can best coordinate compliance under it and throughout the EU. This session examines the current status of the “One Stop Shop” and analyzes the emerging structure of shared regulatory authority among Brussels, the European Data Protection Board, and the national data protection authorities. It will present typical scenarios that international companies face in doing business in different Member States and propose practical solutions.
