Blockchain Tax Conference

Hosted By: San Jose State University's Master of Science in Taxation Program

The Blockchain Tax conference provides insights on current and emerging tax matters to tax practitioners and finance and accounting professionals who assist clients and others with digital asset investing or other transactions. As the number and range of transactions involving digital assets and blockchain increases, so will the number of tax questions. This is an opportunity for those interested in these matters to gain information on the tax rules and open issues and considerations for addressing them.

Fenwick’s David Forst, Matthew Dimon and Sean McElory will speak at the conference.

  • David will be speaking on the When and How Tokens Issued from PoW and PoS Subject to Tax session with Erika Nijenhuis from the Department of Treasury, Christopher Wrobel from the IRS, and Noah Buxton from The Network Firm.
