Fenwick & West represented Coinbase, Inc., a leading digital currency wallet and platform where merchants and consumers can transact with new digital currencies, in its acquihire of Memo.AI, a startup that built a Slackbot for helping technical teams manage notes and instructions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In the transaction, most of the Memo engineering team will be joining Coinbase to help accelerate Coinbase’s mission to build an open financial system. More information about Coinbase’s acquisition of Memo can be obtained from the company announcement.
