She advises clients on the technology and IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, venture financings and minority investments, and capital markets offerings, and handles the full spectrum of commercial agreements, complex licensing arrangements and strategic collaborations.

- Data strategy and licensing: Helping companies map their data sources, assess inbound license rights, and structure and negotiate new data, training, and access agreements.
- Commercial agreements for emerging AI capabilities: Preparing design-partner templates, terms of service, and commercial contracts, including advising on commercializing Gretel AI’s innovative model suite offering, which provides data-provenance visibility and customizable synthetic data generation capabilities.
- AI policy and product counseling: Working with companies to formulate comprehensive AI policies and strategies to help ensure that their deployment and usage align with organizational goals, risk tolerances, and regulatory requirements.
- AI governance frameworks: Assisting organizations, such as Goldman Sachs and a global payments company, in constructing robust governance frameworks focused on accountability and risk management in AI development and deployment.
- AI investments and acquisitions: Advising on AI-driven transactions, including multi-billion-dollar investments such as Lightspeed Venture Partners in its lead investment in Anthropic's $3.5 billion Series E financing, successive financing rounds for quickly-scaling AI companies such as Sierra AI, and both buy-side and sell-side M&A deals such as Rockset in its sale to OpenAI and Databricks in its $1.3 billion acquisition of MosaicML.
A respected voice in the AI legal community, Adine frequently speaks and writes on emerging issues. She has presented to growth-stage startups through 1871’s AI Innovation Lab, to industry media leaders such as AMC, Warner Music Group and NY Fashion Tech Lab, and to professional audiences including the New York Bar In-House Counsel Committee, New York Tech Week, and San Francisco Tech Week. Her article, “AI Considerations for Parties in the Creator Economy,” received a Burton Award in 2024 – one of only 20 articles honored nationwide from submissions by the country’s largest law firms.
