Will Pierog focuses his practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation, with a particular emphasis on copyright, trademark, trade secret, and patent disputes for technology companies. Will has also represented pro bono clients before the San Francisco Rent Board and San Francisco Immigration Court. Will is a member of the Ingram Inn of Court, an organization that promotes civility, collegiality, professionalism, ethics, and advocacy skills.
Before joining Fenwick & West, Will clerked for the Honorable Judge John Suddock of the Alaska Superior Court, Third Judicial District. He also volunteered in the Anti-predatory Lending Division at Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto.
While attending law school, Will was Notes & Comments Associate Editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He received awards in Cyberlaw, Contracts, Torts, and Constitutional Law. Will worked as a Fellow at the UC Berkeley, Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic researching copyright issues for amicus briefs before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also worked as an Extern for the Honorable Richard Seeborg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the Honorable Justice Mark Simons of the California Court of Appeals, First Appellate District, Division Five.
