Fenwick Represents Science Exchange in $20 Million Financing

Fenwick & West represented Science Exchange, a leading SaaS-enabled marketplace for outsourced research and development, in its $20 million financing.

The financing, led by Maverick Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners, was from a combination of equity and debt sources. Other investors that participated include Union Square Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Windham Ventures and OATV, as well as Silicon Valley Bank.

Science Exchange plans to use the funding to further develop its software platform and expand its footprint in the biotech and pharmaceutical space. More information about the financing can be obtained from the company’s announcement.
