(NASDAQ:FB), the leading social media site, in its recently announced acquisition of QuickFire Networks Corporation, developers of a solution for current network infrastructure that is not sufficient enough to support the massive consumption of video that’s happening online without compromising on video quality. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
