Fenwick & West Represents Macromedia in $3.4 Billion Merger with Adobe Systems

Fenwick & West represented longtime client Macromedia, Inc. in its acquisition by Adobe Systems Incorporated, announced earlier today. The all-stock transaction, valued at $3.4 billion, combines two industry-leaders in the creation of compelling content and media applications. Fenwick was the number one legal adviser for technology sector M&A transactions in 2004, as ranked by value of transactions by Mergermarket.
