Fenwick Represents Back to the Roots in $3 Million Series C Financing

Fenwick & West represented Back to the Roots, Inc., a fast-growing organic food and gardening company innovating the way families connect with food, in its $3 million Series C financing. Central Garden & Pet (Nasdaq: CENT) led the round with participation from new investor Blue Scorpion Investments.

Back to the Roots will be using the capital to fuel its growth as leaders in the indoor gardening market with new product launches and partnerships with retail partners including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bloomingdale’s, Petco and Costco.
