Fenwick was honored with two M&A Atlas Deal of the Year awards from Global M&A Network, receiving global recognition for the firm’s leading technology M&A practice.
The firm received the Global Tech Deal of the Year for representing Cisco Systems in its $3.7 billion acquisition of AppDynamics, a leading application intelligence software company. The combination of Cisco and AppDynamics will allow Cisco to provide end-to-end visibility and intelligence from the network through to the application, which, combined with security and scale, will help IT to drive a new level of business results.
Fenwick was also awarded the Global Corporate Deal of the Year award for representing Gigya, a market leader in customer identity and access management, in its acquisition by SAP. Gigya had been an SAP Hybris partner since 2013, and had customers already using a solution extension from SAP Hybris and Gigya. The acquisition will enable the teams to further build upon this existing strong relationship.
Co-chaired by partners Doug Cogen and Dave Healy, the firm’s M&A group provides customized transaction services to meet each client's unique business needs. Fenwick’s extensive group of experienced lawyers handles deals of all sizes and complexities, with experience in technology transactions, patents, IP litigation, and domestic and international tax issues.
Fenwick has been named Technology Law Firm of the Year by Global M&A Network for three consecutive years, in addition to being ranked by Bloomberg as one of the Top 10 M&A legal advisors in the U.S. and Technology Law Firm of the Year for the fifth straight year by Law360.
