For the second consecutive time, Fenwick securities enforcement chair and litigation partner Michael Dicke has been named to Securities Docket’s Enforcement 40, a list of the 40 best and brightest securities enforcement defense attorneys in the country.
The lawyers in the Enforcement 40 for 2020 are from many of the top law firms in the world and have been key players in some of the most significant SEC enforcement matters over the past few decades. Securities Docket’s inaugural Enforcement 40 list was published in 2013 and it was previously updated in 2017. Based on nominations, input from numerous senior lawyers in the field and considerable research, the publication sought to answer the following question: “Who would you hire if you, your company or a family member was faced with an important SEC enforcement matter?”
Prior to joining Fenwick, Dicke spent over 15 years with the SEC, most recently serving as the associate regional director for enforcement in the SEC’s San Francisco regional office, where he supervised all of the office’s investigations and litigation.
Dicke was also recognized as a leader for regulatory enforcement and securities litigation in the 2020 Best Lawyers guide and was highlighted among the nation’s top securities litigators in The Legal 500’s 2019 guide. He currently serves as co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Securities Enforcement subcommittee.
Dicke and the other honorees were announced on October 28, 2020, at the virtual Securities Enforcement Forum 2020. See the complete Enforcement 40 list.
