Alice concentrates her practice on representing clients operating in the technology and fintech industries with a focus on blockchain/Web3, financial services, and AI, where she advises startup and private companies on:

  • regulatory strategy;
  • the application of state and federal financial services regulation and securities law to digital assets, bespoke financial instruments, and related transactions;
  • token generation events;
  • designing novel transaction structures; and
  • decentralized governance systems and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Alice was an associate at an established U.S. law firm advising leading financial institutions, investment banks and financial services providers on a range of financial transactions and regulatory matters and also served as the associate manager of the firm’s FinTech working group.

In addition, Alice has experience working at two leading international law firms in Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Alice also served as an academic research assistant at Harvard Law School and the University of Technology Sydney, a legal intern at a blockchain technology and software company as well as a judicial clerk to Justice Richard Button in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
