Bella assists in the drafting of U.S. and foreign patent applications for clients in the technology and life sciences industries.
While pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Bella was a research assistant for AEON Lab, where she investigated techniques that utilize Neural Architecture Search to accelerate transformer networks on Field Programable Gate Arrays. Bella also holds a M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a member of the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu honor society and Society of Women Engineers. She has additional experience working in market research, design ideation and project management.
