Tiffaney represents technology companies on a variety of litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes.

During law school, Tiffaney was an intern in the Special Litigation Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Katharine H. Parker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also served as the senior editor for the California Law Review and publishing editor for the Berkeley Journal of Black Law & Policy.

Prior to law school, Tiffaney was a legislative director for the California State Assembly.
