Brian helped clients at all stages—from emerging startups to multinational corporations—secure, protect and defend their intellectual property assets. Focused on patent litigation, Brian used his deep experience analyzing patents and prior art to craft offensive and defensive strategies for district court and post-grant proceedings, including inter partes reviews. He filed dozens of petitions before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and had experience in jurisdictions throughout the country, including the Western District of Texas, District of Delaware, Central District of California and Western District of Washington.

Brian also had extensive experience counseling some of the world’s leading technology companies on strategic IP portfolio development, including patent protection and technology transactions.
