David advises technology and life sciences companies on a broad range of general corporate and complex transactional matters, including startup counseling, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. David also advises private equity sponsors, including buyout funds, growth equity funds, venture capital funds and hedge funds. He represents companies partnering with those sponsors in complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts of private and public companies, strategic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, equity financings, recapitalizations and restructurings.
Prior to joining Fenwick, David worked as a corporate associate for another leading international law firm. During law school, he was a member of the Columbia Business Law Review and was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for his academic excellence.
