Hanchel Cheng, whose field is electrical engineering, assists in the prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for clients in technology industries. She has experience assisting with the prosecution of patents across a range of technical fields including radio frequency systems, MEMS devices, biometric technology, media guide systems, semiconductor fabrication and electric vehicles.
Hanchel was formerly a technical advisor with a boutique intellectual property law firm where she primarily assisted with the prosecution of foreign and domestic patent applications for a variety of technologies. She gained industrial experience working as a systems engineer with Northrop Grumman where she developed and tested transceiver systems in unmanned aerial surveillance vehicles.
