Hugo is a patent agent in Fenwick’s intellectual property and life sciences groups. Hugo assists clients with managing patent portfolios, patent application drafting and prosecution, both in the U.S. and internationally, and with intellectual property due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Hugo was a patent agent in the life sciences group at a leading, global intellectual property law firm where he focused on patent portfolio management, drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, and conducting due diligence, freedom-to-operate studies, and patent landscape analysis.
