Jason represents clients in the technology and life sciences industries in intellectual property matters, including trademark prosecution, U.S. and international trademark clearance, and enforcement.
When Jason joined Fenwick, he brought with him five years of experience as a trademark examining attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. During his tenure, he examined thousands of trademark applications in a wide variety of industries, issued Office actions, represented the USPTO in appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and was selected for a special work detail developing and improving methods of training new examining attorneys.
Before joining the USPTO, Jason worked for a trademark boutique firm in the Falls Church, Virginia area.
