Julia represents technology companies in a broad variety of intellectual property, technology and commercial matters across different industries. Her practice focuses on software, consumer products and ecommerce, and she has additional experience in advertising and games as well as digital and interactive entertainment. She advises on, drafts and negotiates complex commercial agreements and technology licenses, such as partnership and collaboration, SaaS, software development, reseller and distributor, and influencer agreements, and consumer and business terms of use. Julia also counsels clients on intellectual property issues, including issues around open source software use, that arise in mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures and venture capital and strategic investments.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Julia was an associate at an international law firm in New York. Her practice focused on securities and complex commercial litigation, including cases involving SEC investigations, shareholder litigation, and breach of non-competition agreements as well as misappropriation of trade secrets. Julia also advised clients in connection with Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification requirements.
