Mona advises clients on technology transactions and intellectual property matters in a wide variety of industries, with a focus on digital media and consumer products and services. She has experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including agreements related to content licensing, experiential and digital marketing, software/platform integrations and IT outsourcing. Mona also advises clients on technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Mona was an attorney with ViacomCBS Digital (formerly CBS Interactive Inc.), where she counseled the company on content distribution and programmatic advertising matters. Before that, Mona was a technology transactions associate at an Am Law 100 firm.
Mona received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. While in law school, she served as senior online editor of the California Law Review, senior articles editor of the Asian American Law Journal, finance chair of the California Asylum and Refugee Clinic and social chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
