Patrick focuses his corporate and startup practice on a broad range of transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and venture capital transactions.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Patrick served as a corporate associate at a leading international law firm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he advised on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions. Before pursuing a legal career, Patrick advised on crisis communications and Parliamentary matters in the Government of Canada.

While in law school, Patrick led a successful campaign to change Royal Canadian Navy policy and advocated before Canada’s Parliament, achieving unanimously-approved amendments to government legislation and changes to Canadian federal law.
