Emily Lippincott supports the firm’s knowledge management efforts by collecting and sharing knowledge and expertise across the firm, helping to improve the quality of legal services provided to the firm’s clients. As part of her role, Emily applies her previous corporate experience to develop and maintain the collection of standard forms and exemplar documents, and wikis for the firm’s corporate group.
Before moving into knowledge management, Emily was a staff attorney at the firm, focusing her practice on counseling clients with regards to intellectual property issues that arise in mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures and venture capital financings.
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Emily was an attorney with FLEX by Fenwick where her practice focused on securities filings and corporate governance. Before joining FLEX by Fenwick, Emily was an associate in the corporate group at a national law firm, focusing on private equity and securities offerings. Emily began her career as in-house counsel at a hardware company in the Silicon Valley where she had a broad practice including securities filings, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, employment and contracts.
