Fenwick & West represented Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB), the leading social media site, in its recently announced acquisition of Pryte Oy, a Finland-based company looking to enable app–like user experience for mobile data so mobile operators can quickly launch engaging app based data plans and OTT partnerships without investments to infrastructure. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will help change the way people around the globe access data from their smartphones.
