Fenwick Represents Figma in $50 Million Series D Financing

Fenwick & West represented Figma in its $50 million Series D funding round, led by Peter Levine and Marc Andreessen at a16z. Existing investors Index, Greylock, KPCB, Sequoia and Founders Fund also participated, as well as Henry Ellenbogen from Durable Capital and a number of angel investors.

Figma is a professional-grade online tool created specifically for interface design and helps the entire product team create, test and ship better designs, faster.

This new capital will help Figma double down on their core design and prototyping platform. The company will also explore new ways to serve their global community — designers and non-designers alike — by building dedicated products for an expanded set of use cases around visual communication and creativity. More information about the financing can be obtained from Figma’s announcement.

The Fenwick transaction team included corporate partner Michael Esquivel and associates Thomas Kang, Jenna Hsieh and Alyssa Zhang.
