Fenwick Represents Tala in its $110M Series D Financing

Fenwick & West represented Tala, a leading consumer lending app in emerging markets, in its $110M Series D financing led by RPS Ventures, with participation from GGV Capital and previous investors, including IVP, Revolution Growth, Lowercase Capital, Data Collective VC, ThomVest Ventures and PayPal Ventures.

Tala will use the funding to expand in India and other markets, launch new products on the Tala platform, and scale its team across its offices in Kenya, Mexico, the Philippines, India and the United States. More information can be found from Tala’s announcement.
