Fenwick Represents WXR Fund in Closing of Venture Fund for Women-Led Startups

Fenwick represented WXR Fund in its closing of the first venture fund to invest exclusively in women-led start-ups in the extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) spaces. The fund closed at $5 million, and participation included over 50% women across individual investors, family offices and strategic partners such as the Venture Reality Fund.

WXR Fund is focused on the next wave in computing and women-led startups. Its portfolio companies include Obsess, absurd:joy, Embodied Labs, Wavely Diagnostics, All3D.ai, Prisms of Reality and Scatter. More information about the new fund can be found in WXR’s announcement.

The Fenwick fund closing team included corporate partner Byron Dailey and associate Julia Kerr.
