For the fourth year in a row, Fenwick has been named Technology Law Firm of the Year by Global M&A Network at the M&A Atlas Awards. The firm was also recognized for two Deal of the Year awards, including the Technology M&A Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of the Year for deals ranging from $750M to less than $1B.
Additionally, Fenwick corporate partner Ken Myers was honored by Global M&A Network as one of its Top 50 Americas Rising Dealmakers. This honor recognizes the most accomplished dealmakers from the private equity, legal, investment bank and wider mergers and acquisitions deal communities.
Myers concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate matters. He has led numerous high-profile M&A deals for some of the world’s most well-known and influential technology companies, and was named a Rising Star earlier this year by the New York Law Journal.
“These awards testify to the incredible caliber of our M&A team at Fenwick and our passion for the technology space,” Fenwick M&A co-chair Doug Cogen said. “We pride ourselves on possessing a deep understanding of the unique needs of technology companies and the complex issues that often arise during an M&A transaction—and we’re deeply honored to be recognized as the nation’s leading tech M&A firm for the fourth consecutive year.”
Fenwick received the Technology M&A Deal of the Year award for serving as legal advisor to Cisco in its $1.9 billion acquisition of Broadsoft. The firm was also awarded with the Deal of the Year in the $750M to less than $1B category for representing Silver Spring Networks in its $830 million acquisition by Itron.
