Mountain View, CA (January 24, 2017)– Fenwick & West is pleased to announce that corporate lawyer Jordan Roberts has been named to Forbes’ vaunted 30 under 30 list of top young lawyers and policymakers.
For the sixth year in a row, the publication has selected 30 “change makers” under 30 years old in 20 industries who are “challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation of entrepreneurs, entertainers, educators and more.” Forbes said more than 15,000 nominations came in for its 600 spots this year.
“I’m honored to be in the company of such an amazing group of founders, entrepreneurs, educators and other young professionals who are working to transform the world,” Roberts said. “At Fenwick, we’re privileged to be engaged with some of the most forward-thinking and cutting-edge companies.”
In its profile of Roberts, Forbes spotlights his involvement in major technology mergers and acquisitions and fundraising deals, including Facebook’s largest acquisition to date and the company’s $2 billion purchase of Oculus VR, and multiple equity raises for Uber.
Roberts provides legal support to clients such as FanDuel and Coinbase, and advises major investors such as Sequoia. He received his law degree from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
