Partner Morgan Sawchuk Named a Lawyer on the Fast Track

Fenwick corporate partner Morgan Sawchuk was named one of The Recorder’s 40 Lawyers on the Fast Track this year’s California Legal Awards. The exclusive list recognizes exceptional lawyers under the age of 40 who are quickly becoming the Golden State’s “next generation of legal leaders.”

In a Q&A with The Recorder, Morgan reflects on major successes representing clients across a broad range of industries, including aerospace, games and clean energy, who are disrupting and transforming their fields. “The deals and matters that I work on are sort of a road map for the life cycle of a high-growth technology company, ranging from very early ownership structuring and fundraising to later-stage liquidity transactions,” she told the outlet. “Because we work with leading-edge tech companies, I’m often being asked to respond to issues of first impression and help with new and innovative matters.”

Morgan provides strategic counselling on a range of matters to emerging and high-growth technology companies at all stages, as well as venture capital firms and corporate venture clients. She is known for providing practical and thoughtful advice to help clients solve problems and achieve goals efficiently.
