Andy is a patent agent in Fenwick’s intellectual property and life sciences groups assisting in the drafting and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications in the life sciences industry. He focuses on inventions in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, antibody development, drug discovery, diagnostics, oncology, and cancer therapeutics.

Andy received his Ph.D. in chemical biology from the University of Michigan, where his research focused on defining protein-protein interactions involved in human gene expression and discovering novel small-molecule inhibitors of those challenging protein surfaces.
