Emma McBride

Emma advises technology and life sciences companies and financial institutions on a wide range of capital markets and securities matters. She represents issuers, underwriters, and initial purchasers in a variety of equity and debt offerings, including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, convertible notes, high-yield and investment-grade debt, and exchange offerings. Emma also counsels clients on securities law compliance, public company reporting obligations, SEC disclosure matters, and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Emma was a capital markets associate at an international law firm in New York. During that time, she also completed a secondment at a leading private equity firm, advising on SEC reporting obligations and public company disclosure.

During law school, Emma served as articles editor of the Boston College Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
