Ethan leverages his academic and industrial research background in organic chemistry to assist in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the U.S. and globally for clients in the life sciences.

Prior to becoming a patent agent, Ethan received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Rochester and spent time as a technology licensing assistant in the university’s technology transfer office. His graduate research focused on developing organometallic synthetic methodology and he has published papers in highly-regarded journals including ACS Catalysis, RSC Advances, and The Journal of Organic Chemistry.
