Jedediah chairs Fenwick’s litigation group. He regularly handles high-stakes intellectual property cases for technology and life sciences companies, including trade secret, copyright, trademark, and right of publicity matters, as well as complex commercial and technology licensing disputes. Jed also represents companies in advertising, privacy, and unfair competition cases, and he successfully defends clients in state and federal consumer class action lawsuits.
Jed has handled cases across the country in trial and appellate courts and in arbitration. He has also represented clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in Section 337 investigations instituted by the U.S. International Trade Commission. Jed has been named an IP Star by Managing Intellectual Property and as one of the top 100 attorneys in Northern California by Super Lawyers. The Daily Journal has honored Jed as a top IP litigation attorney and The Legal 500 has recognized him for trademark litigation. In law school, Jed served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge James Ware, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
