Kiyan advises clients on a broad variety of intellectual property matters, with a focus on technology transactions for clients in the technology and life sciences industries. He has experience with various types of IP and commercial transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, collaborations, and licensing arrangements.

Prior to his legal career, Kiyan worked in the software engineering space, where he leveraged numerous coding languages, databases, analytic techniques, and architectural paradigms. While in law school, Kiyan was a member of Northwestern University’s Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property as well as the school’s Arts & Entertainment Law Society and High Tech Law Society.
