Nancy focuses her practice on executive compensation and employee benefit matters for startup companies and public companies. She advises clients on the tax, securities and employment issues related to equity-based compensation and designs plans and arrangements for stock options, restricted stock, restricted stock units and deferred compensation programs. When a startup client reaches a liquidity event, Nancy is an integral member of the team working on the acquisition or initial public offering.
Nancy also negotiates employment agreements and severance agreements on behalf of companies and executives and provides advice in acquisitions on employment and equity matters, as well as golden parachute and non-competition issues.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Nancy worked at several leading law firms.
