Melita Jampol is Director of Marketing at Fenwick & West where she develops marketing programs that further business objectives. She has nearly 20 years of experience in traditional and online marketing for professional services organizations. Melita leads programs at Fenwick that range from content marketing and thought leadership to online marketing, social media and public relations. Since joining the firm, she has developed and promoted more than 30 videos, launched blogs, and produced numerous white papers, while also driving visibility for these efforts. In addition to managing an outside team of public relations professionals, Melita personally secured media coverage in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and American Lawyer. She is responsible for content on the firm website and uses a data driven approach to improve user experience and SEO.
Throughout her career she has worked closely with attorneys and sales teams to generate and nurture leads from expression of interest through deal close. She is also experienced in interacting directly with clients to help drive client satisfaction. Prior to joining Fenwick, Melita was a senior business development manager at an NLJ350 law firm. She led marketing at a venture capital firm and began her career at an investment bank.
In 2008, Melita developed a first of its kind social media marketing program for the legal industry and traveled throughout the country presenting it to attorney groups. Melita graduated from the University of California, Davis, is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and serves on the advisory board of ArtPoint.
