Fenwick & West represented CNEX Labs, Inc., a developer of a transformative architecture for solid state drive (SSD) controllers, in its $23 million Series D financing. Dell Technologies Capital led the round with participation from other strategic investors including M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, and major semiconductor foundries, large storage and networking semiconductor companies and other new and existing investors. Additional investors in this round included Sierra Ventures, Walden Venture Investments and Brightstone Venture Capital.
CNEX will use the capital to continue transforming data center storage as enterprise storage and server vendors, hyperscalers and cloud service providers embrace SSDs to meet the demand for high performance storage.
