Fenwick Represents Modern Animal in $75.5 Million Total Financing

Fenwick represented Modern Animal, a new kind of veterinary company, in its multiple financing rounds throughout the past year, including a $35.5 million Series A and a $40 million Series B.

The company’s Series A financing was led by True Ventures and Addition, and its Series B was led by Founders Fund, who also led Modern Animal’s Seed round in 2019. All three firms plus existing investor, Upfront Ventures, participated in both rounds.

The new capital will be used for rapid expansion as well as continued development of the Modern Animal platform. As part of the raise, Modern Animal has also added two new board members. More information can be obtained from the company’s announcement.
