Fenwick Represents Modern Animal in $75 Million Series C Financing

Fenwick represented Modern Animal, a new kind of veterinary company, in its $75 million Series C financing. The round was led by Addition with participation from D1 Capital, Founders Fund, True Ventures and Upfront Ventures.

Modern Animal will use the new capital to double its locations over the coming year, with the additional capital used to open new clinics in California, and to expand nationally.

The Fenwick transaction team was led by corporate partners Michael Brown and Thomas Kang and associate Anja Kong.
