Fenwick Represents OpenDNS in its Sale to Cisco

Fenwick & West represented OpenDNS, a privately held security company, in its sale to Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO). Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco will pay $635 million in cash and assumed equity awards, plus retention based incentives for OpenDNS.

The Fenwick transaction team included corporate attorneys Michael Brown, Greg Roussel, Stephen Fisher, Kevin Adams, Gilad Yacubovich and James Do; executive compensation and employee benefits attorneys Shawn Lampron and Willow Yang; technology transactions attorneys Ralph Pais and Michael Riskin and tax attorneys Andrew Kim and Jay Cosel.
