Fenwick represented Remote, which offers international payroll, benefits, taxes and compliance for businesses big and small, in its $150 million Series B financing at a valuation of more than $1 billion, making Remote a unicorn company. The investment round was led by Accel, with participation from existing investors Sequoia, Index Ventures, Two Sigma, General Catalyst and Day One Ventures.
Remote plans to use the financing to make it easier for businesses to hire global talent. More information can be obtained from Remote’s announcement.
