Fenwick Represents Symantec in Sale of Enterprise Security Assets for $10.7 Billion to Broadcom

Fenwick & West represented Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC), a leading cybersecurity company that helps organizations, governments and people secure their most important data, in the pending sale of its Enterprise Security assets to Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGO), for $10.7 billion in cash. The transaction, which was approved by Symantec’s board of directors, is expected to close before the end of the calendar year pending regulatory approvals.
