Mountain View, CA (February 7, 2017) – Fenwick & West is pleased to announce that corporate partner Mark Stevens has been named a 2016 Media & Entertainment MVP by Law360.
Stevens focuses his practice on advising emerging companies, investment banks, and venture capital and other technology investors on complex corporate and transactional matters, as well as with mature companies in their tech-related initiatives.
In the past two years, Stevens has led the industry’s three largest mobile gaming acquisitions.
Law360 highlighted his work on these transactions, including representing mobile game developer Supercell of “Clash of Clans” fame in its $8.6 billion stake acquisition by Tencent, one of China’s largest and most-used internet portals; guiding King Digital Entertainment, maker of popular mobile games including “Candy Crush,” in its $5.9 billion acquisition by Activision Blizzard, Inc.; and advising a group of Chinese private equity firms and Shanghai Giant Network Technology Co. in their $4.4 billion acquisition of Playtika, maker of slot machine mobile games.
The publication noted Stevens’ leadership in launching Fenwick’s New York office in June 2016, and also recognized him in their Rainmaker Q&A series which profiles leaders at top law firms.
The profile is available through the Law360 website (subscription required).
