Can provides strategic and practical counseling to all players in the blockchain ecosystem, ranging from early stage cryptocurrency developers to mature blockchain businesses, as well as cryptocurrency exchanges and investors. He has advised over a hundred cryptocurrency projects and associated companies on a variety of public and private token sales, swaps, airdrops, exchange offerings, secondary offerings, multi-token offerings and other novel structures within and outside the United States, including pre-mined and fair launch blockchain protocols, smart contract tokens, as well as security tokens. He also has extensive experience advising cryptocurrency exchanges on the regulatory and compliance aspects of new programs and initiatives, listing applications and licensing and operational issues. He is a frequent speaker at blockchain-related conferences, seminars and events.

While in law school, Can was co-editor-in-chief of the Yale Journal of Law and Technology and comments and online articles editor for the Yale Journal of International Law.
